The role

As a Project Manager within the capital projects area, your primary responsibility is to ensure that network related projects and programs are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed standards. 

As a project manager within the operational maintenance works area, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the network asset scheduled maintenance and vegetation management programs are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed standards.

This involves working closely with Project Engineers to deliver projects from start to finish, while also developing sustainable project management capabilities within the organisation.

What you’ll need

The successful candidate will ideally have a combination of the following skills and qualifications:

· Tertiary or Trade qualification (Electrical)

· Project Management Certification and/or significant Project Management experience

· 5yrs experience in delivering engineering projects or work programmes 

· 5yrs experience in managing or undertaking scheduled asset maintenance on switch-gear and transformers

· Experience and understanding of contract management principles (e.g. NZS3910)

· Excellent planning and organising skills 

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

The salary range we are offering for the right person is: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per annum.
